Why is the thing you care about most always the thing you do last?
You’re a great entrepreneur. So why is the podcast still an idea?
Do your healthy habits disappear when you focus on work?
Why do you drop the things you know matter?
You know what to do. We make sure you do it.
There is a version of you that keeps a promise to themselves.
And there is a version of you that is very good at walking away from the thing. Quietly. So quietly that nobody notices, including you.
I know the second one well. I’ve launched six offers and pivoted before landing a single client each time. I told myself I was being led somewhere else. It felt like discernment. I’m sure it was fear, and having no one to push me through the last 10%.
I built Focus 44 because it’s what I needed.
Three groups in, here’s what people have done:
- Started businesses
- Launched podcasts
- Built daily journaling practices
- Meditated 3 times a day for 16 days straight
And a lot of firsts:
- First coaching client
- First podcast episode released
- First client through ads
- First big client
In 44 days
The thing you keep saying you’ll get to is out in the world and people are responding to it. The practice you keep saying you’ll keep is now a habit. You trust your own word again.
And you become someone whose devotion holds when the excitement wears off.
Every evening you post three things in the group: your points, a celebration, and tomorrow’s one thing.
That’s the core mechanism. Your accountability buddy notices and checks in. The group celebrates with you and holds you to your commitments when it counts.
You will not have to do this alone.
Angel finished building his coaching offer in the first accountability group, then came back for a second round. These are his evening check-ins from his first nine days in Focus 44:
Every evening, everyone posts one thing they’re celebrating. Most of them are small. That’s the point.
“That thing that you know you need to do that you’re not doing becomes so obviously clear.”
“The first week [in Focus 44] I signed a client who makes over 3 million a year. I've gotten a lot of other little deals, but it's more than just the money. For me, it's changing my life. The level of self-awareness that I've created already, especially with the weekly reviews and the group calls... Whatever level you're at, this can be really helpful and I urge you to try it.”
“Just like 75 Hard. Now it’s gonna become Focus 44.”
In a study of 149 professionals, people who sent weekly progress reports to a friend reached their goals, or got more than halfway, 76% of the time. People who kept their goals in their heads: 43%.
Gail Matthews, Dominican University. A small conference study.A 2016 review of 138 experiments with nearly 20,000 people found that tracking progress helps people reach their goals. When people reported their progress to others, the effect was nearly three times as large as tracking it privately.
Harkin et al., 2016, Psychological Bulletin“I'm so grateful for this container because it's a unique experience for me to have someone hold the space in an entrepreneurial group setting, that has the heart and the mind.”
“I did see a shift in myself. I noticed that I'm accepting support from friends, getting more organized, and it's a big shift for me. Thank you.”
“I'm super grateful that you created this with a lot of intention and energy and time... This really helped me a lot in so many ways, actually.”
Your 44-Day Map. One goal, three milestones, and daily actions sized to weekly targets you can actually hit. You don’t start with a blank sheet.
44 Evening Check-Ins. Points, one celebration, tomorrow’s one thing. Two minutes, every night, in the group chat.
Your Accountability Buddy. One person, all 44 days. Close enough to care, far enough to see the big picture. You check in once a week. They help you size your goals and notice if you disappear.
Six Group Calls. 45 to 90 minutes each, at your group’s time. Recorded if you miss one.
The Unblock Session. Week 4. Identify the pattern that limits you. Work through it live.
Body Doubling. Work alongside the group on a call. After the Unblock Session, and whenever anyone calls one.
We don’t promise specific results, but if you follow the process and it doesn’t work, you don’t pay.
Post 40 of the 44 evening check-ins, join 5 of the 6 group calls live, and check in with your accountability buddy every week. If on day 44 your thing isn’t out in the world, or your practice isn’t holding, you get a full refund or a free seat in the next cohort. Your choice.
